Municipal Clerk's Week - May 5th thru May 11th, 2024


Let's come together to celebrate our City Clerk during Municipal Clerk's Week!  Ms. Gordon's dedication over nearly six years has truly elevated our city. As the city's first Georgia Certified Clerk and a Master Certified Clerk, her expertise is invaluable. Furthermore, her certifications in Human Resources and Capital Improvements showcase her commitment to excellence in serving our community. We thank Ms. Gordon for her tireless efforts!

Celebrating Earth Day


The City of Flemington was delighted to participate in Earth Day again this year with our sustainable bamboo booth.  Those young and old all enjoyed learning about bamboo and 75 lucky folks got a bamboo walking sticks!  A fun part of the experience was the children being able to show how tall they would be if they were bamboo as bamboo can grow up to 5 feet per year.  Mayor Paul Hawkins, Councilman Larry Logan and Holly Kennedy represented the City and did a wonderful job despite the heat!  We hope to see you all at Earth Day next year!

Upcoming Development


The City of Flemington is growing!  The following development has been approved by the Flemington City Council.  Note:  We do not know when construction will begin on designs that have been approved.  We will both know construction will start soon when the black silt fencing goes up around the build site.
